Analysis of the European Federation for transport and environment: some read-across

According to an analysis of the European Federation for Transport & Environment two-thirds of lithium-ion battery production planned for Europe is at risk of being delayed, scaled down or cancelled.

This is due to the complexity of the business, European bureaucracy, US subsidies, and lack of funding.

According to the same source, our subsidiary FAAM, that has realized the first lithium-ion cell production line in Southern Europe and is realizing a 8.5GWh/year Gigafactory, is one of the project with low risk, having available the funding and the infrastructures ready.
